At Kitemaker, I serve as the founding designer, leading all aspects of design — from user experience to branding and marketing.
Kitemaker helps product teams build and ship better software, faster — streamlining user feedback, specification drafting, and task management. I led the rebranding, product redesign and creating a cohesive component library that enables rapid development.
After I joined, we collaborated on a complete redesign of the Kitemaker interface, refining every screen to eliminate design issues, ensure consistency, and enhance the user experience. This overhaul included a new design system, a rewritten frontend, significant UX improvements, and new features, all setting the stage for rapid future updates.
This culminated in a successful Product Hunt launch, with revitalized user growth and significantly reduced customer churn.
Major redesigns are tough to justify and execute, but with full team alignment, we delivered a polished upgrade to the public in just four months.
We created a design system optimized for speed and flexibility, enabling our team to quickly prototype, iterate, and build without sacrificing cohesion or usability.
I refreshed Kitemaker’s brand with a new logo, clear positioning, and a redesigned website. I also created the Product Hunt launch video and marketing materials to support a successful launch.
Together with the team, I iteratively developed our brand messaging and visual identity, introducing outcome-driven statements like “Less issue tracking, more impact.” I applied this approach across our landing page and other marketing materials to create a cohesive and compelling brand presence.
For our Product Hunt redesign launch, I created the product video, handling everything from storyboarding, scriptwriting and animation to music selection.
